Integrated communications agency Robot Creative is celebrating a year of growth well ahead of projections. Since it’s humble beginnings in 2007, Robot has enjoyed steady YOY growth, despite challenging economic conditions. And at year end (Jan 2015) achieved sales of £1.2m+; well ahead of target.
The team at Robot put this success down to a number of factors, including a number of business wins adding significant revenues. MD Steve Pacitto said “In recent years we have see a switch from companies appointing several specialists companies, to reverting back to the ‘old model’ of an integrated marketing specialist. They recognise that working with such a company as Robot enables them to speak with one voice more effectively, and allows us to ensure any tactical campaign work we do is rolled out to all channels consistently and quickly. Being channel neutral allows us to focus our efforts on a business problem, rather than just pushing, for example, a website or SEO campaign just because that’s what we do.”
Looking to the coming year, non-exec Director Mark Oakes believes that small and agile integrated agencies are best placed to help SME’s as the economic recovery gathers pace; “There is definitely an appetite for small to medium companies to appoint companies like ourselves. Larger agencies simply can’t offer the day-to-day focus and responsiveness that we can, and therefore can’t match the value for money that we off our clients’.
